LaCael Palmer-Pratt -
Was born into a family of educators and has continued the legacy in servicing students for 10 years. She began her career as a Life Skills Specialist at South Shore Community Academy, where she taught vocational education classes to high school seniors. She became a charter member of the Small School of the Arts South Shore Campus, where she served as an Internship Coordinator. She chaired a number of citywide initiatives, one of which she is most proud — The Girls Initiative. This initiative addressed the needs of young female teens and supported them in creating their identity.
