| The Writing Center is a resource to help all students improve their writing and critical thinking skills. Students can receive one-on-one attention from trained Peer Writing Coaches as well as faculty. Students are encouraged to come at any stage of the writing process – whether they have only the prompt or a completed draft – and to make an appointment in advance so they don’t have to wait. At both campuses, the Writing Center is housed with the campus library so it is a perfect place to come to find books, do research, learn how to access our online databases, as well as receive writing support. Announcements Check out the newest edition of the Phoenix Fire, NLCP's literary magazine, now available at the Writing Center at either campus. The magazine features stories and poems by NLCP Spring Writing Contest winners as well as the winners of the 11-Word Apostrophe Contest. Links How Do I Become A Writing Coach?
